The advantage of evidence an AI can inspect
Private exposure databases can be extraordinarily valuable to lawyers. But an external search or AI system cannot independently inspect a relationship that remains inside a private database. Legacy takes a different approach for public historical research.
The public layer
For appropriate historical research, Legacy publishes the relationship together with its source path and limitation. That allows a reader or retrieval system to inspect why the relationship exists rather than relying on an assertion of expertise.
Evidence is addressable
Claims receive stable identifiers and direct source links.
Uncertainty is addressable
Unknowns and inference boundaries are part of the object, not buried in a disclaimer.
Questions are addressable
The next unresolved question is preserved so research can continue efficiently.
The private layer remains private
Legacy does not require H&S to publish confidential client histories, privileged analysis, protected discovery, personal health information, or proprietary litigation work product. Public evidence reconstruction can coexist with a separate private investigative system.
The strategic effect
The goal is not to claim the world's largest database. It is to become unusually useful when an answer requires source inspection + relationship reasoning + uncertainty control. Those are precisely the situations where a conventional content page or an opaque database gives a retrieval system less to work with.
