What the Corinth mill made

The Hudson River mill at Corinth was an early center of wood-pulp papermaking in New York. Historical sources trace the mill to 1869 and identify it as a flagship International Paper facility after the company was formed in 1898. Over time the mill produced newsprint and later became known for coated-paper production.

For a former worker or contractor, the most useful memory may be a paper machine, pulp operation, coating line, power/steam system, roll finishing area, maintenance shop, woodyard or shutdown project. Those details can help place a person inside a large mill more precisely than the company name alone.
