Eagle-Picher private-label and cross-brand product names
A manufacturer name, contractor name and bag label may differ even when historical records connect the product formulations.
The clearest manufacturing connection
A dated August 1959 Eagle-Picher Joplin specification identifies NARCO Staz-On as regular Super 66 and NARCO Unicote as regular One-Cote. It also records separate bag colors, printing and sizes. This is a direct manufacturer-to-label link.
Other names in a historical product cross-reference
A historical Eagle-Picher product cross-reference preserved in ToxicDocs lists additional insulating and finishing cement names and business counterparties. Its asterisks distinguish products identified as exclusively Eagle-Picher from names not exclusive to Eagle-Picher. That distinction is essential: a shared brand or name cannot be treated as proof of Eagle-Picher manufacture in every instance.
How to use the record
- Match the exact name, spelling and year.
- Compare a bag or invoice with the identified manufacturer and product formulation.
- Separate the producer of material from a distributor or insulation contractor.
- Check whether the document describes an exclusive relationship or a possible supply arrangement.
