Hy-Lo and historical supplier relationships
A supplier response identifies a possible relabeling relationship, but the scope and dates need careful treatment.
A qualified historical statement
A historical Celotex predecessor-business response states that a small quantity of All-Temp and Careytemp may have been sold to Eagle-Picher between 1956 and 1965 and relabeled Hy-Lo. The response uses qualified language, including “may have” and “it is believed.” This is not conclusive proof of every Hy-Lo product’s source or formulation.
Why the supply chain matters
An industrial worker may recall a distributor label or an Eagle-Picher name even when the material was produced by another company. Purchasing and delivery records, product specifications and dates can clarify that relationship.
